The ugly word behind no self-love.
Self-love is so simple, my friends, but why do people not do it? One low vibrational word: Perfection. This word should not exist. Nothing is perfect, and flaws are everywhere. If things were perfect, well, then our work is done here on Mother Earth.
Instead of valuing perfection, we need to change our beliefs to honor and love the word imperfection. Yes, imperfection is life, humans, and love.
Let’s own our brilliance while owning our imperfections. Also, own our greatness while owning our smallness. Allow them to coexist. It’s the Ying-Yang of our life. So we can Embrace all the unique facets of our being.
Now that you know perfection is useless, unattainable, and a waste of energy, self-love is easy.
When you are your number one fan, you give yourself what you need. You are not looking for others to validate you. No longer placing your love, emotions, and wants in the hands of others. Instead, you are saying, “I am not looking for a relationship to complete me; it’s my job to complete me.”
You wake up saying every morning, “I am worthy, I am enough, I am pleased, ecstatic, and honored of who I am!” You know, without a doubt, it’s your job to like you before anything else. So you bet and count on yourself, and you are your number one.
Loving yourself first is asking how I can give my sacred temple the best experience ever? And without a blink of an eye, knowing that our bodies are here to help us. Our bodies are these magnificent vehicles enabling us to live out our life’s purpose. When you love yourself, you are giving it oxygen, breathwork, movement, and nutrients.
Being totally into you is setting healthy boundaries; knowing your “no’s” opens new doors. Understanding “no” is a complete sentence and does not require justification. You can find peace in alone time and honoring the stillness within.
When you are everything to yourself, you know from the depths of your soul the mistakes, hardships, and life lessons are the greatest treasures. So you stand within your power and say, “I am not perfect; I manage my imperfections well.”
Self-love is the most precious gift we can give to only ourselves. Just think you are so unique that you are an unrepeated miracle. Yes, a rare, beautiful human who is not perfect. So get your self-love on and embrace your imperfections.
Until next time, laugh, love, and be uniquely you!
